Is social bookmarking good for individual forum posts

I'm guessing that you guys know that we can social bookmar our ezine articles and other PRs. But what if we commented on a particular forum and then used that link (where we had commeted, not the forum pg) as a social bookmark. since i have my www as the profile homeage setting, will it help. Then Google indexes the social bookmark and finds that it links to the forum post, which in turn has the homepage address.
